Why this design? Our goal for the 2026 season was to build a robot that was fully operational for our Week 1 event while minimizing mechanical complexity and potential failure points. To achieve this, we prioritized a fixed, robust double‑shooter system and avoided additional degrees of freedom such as a turret or an advanced level 3 climber that would add unnecessary risk and time to our build.
