Summer Project- Swerve Drive!
With our swerve drive, we will be able to add another available drive train to the list of options, gain a great learning experience for all students (building, programming, and driving experiences), and be provided with an easier way to drive on the field during competitions!
Our Swerve Drive is using Modules from Swerve Drive Specialties the Mk4i's
Using Brushless NEO motors from REV Robotics 8 in total (4 for Drive, 4 for Steering)
Using a NavX2 for all positional control on the field
Using Thrifty Bot absolute magnetic encoders for honing the swerve drive in at power up
